Apparently EA has not given up on this series yet, according to the recent Game Informer. It seems that EA will give it's Chicago studio the chance to make amends to the sequel. EA Chicago is resposible for the games such as: Fight Night & Def Jam.

It'll be interesting to see what they can do with this sequel. If anything, they will improve it. It did not mention what systems it would appear on.
