While no title has been announced yet, you can, however, get a sneak peek at the game on Friday August 31, 1 a.m. ET/PT on Spike TV's Game Head. Other than that there's not much to go on right now, besides it's set to release sometime in 2008. Now most people say that you can't top Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 when it comes to Marvel fighting games...but EA has promised to "deliver an authentic Super Hero fighting experience that has been promised for years but never truly been delievered."
EA did state the the "Nemesis Characters" that EA created, will not be in this game. Whether or not this will be called Marvel Nemesis 2, we'll have to wait and see. So here's your chance EA and you'll only get one in the eyes of the Marvel fans. Let's see if you can outdo Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, a classic, will EA rise to the challenge, or will they fall short as they have with other games...only time will tell.
EA Chicago...you may know them as the developers of Fight Night Round 3 & Def Jam: Icon for the X-Box 360 & Playstation 3 consoles. Just about everywhere you look, both of the games they've worked on has received amazing reviews and scores. So, for their next project, what better for them to do than the first next-gen Marvel Fighting game.
